Route
How does the day work?
The trip pairs a Lake Powell paddle with a dry canyon hike and a return along the same water route.
- 240 min
1. Antelope Canyon lake arm
After a safety lesson you descend a steep sandy slope to launch. The paddle reaches Antelope Canyon for a guided hike, followed by the return to Antelope Point.
The 4-hour plan allows 2.5 hours paddling and 1 hour hiking, with timings shaped by your group's pace. A 30-minute swim or rest depends on conditions. You finish at Antelope Point Launch Ramp.
Pickup and meeting point
- Meeting and arrival: Arrive 30 minutes before your tour. Your guide waits by the wazSUPkayaks trailer at the bottom of Antelope Point Launch Ramp.
- Parking: The parking lot sits above the launch ramp. You walk down to meet the guide and continue over a steep sandy slope to the water.
- Getting there: You'll need your own ride to Antelope Point. Passenger transport isn't included, and the tour ends where your paddle began.
Before you book
- The optional swim isn't guaranteed with your booking. Your guide decides whether conditions on the day allow a break in the water.

Your booking supplies a dry bag and kayak gear. Drinking water is yours to bring for the 4-hour outing. Wear shoes you can walk in on steep sand and along the canyon floor.
A weather cancellation gives you another date or a full refund. The swim depends on your guide and the weather. Storms or flash flood forecasts mean staying out of narrow canyons.
One booking can cover 1 to 10 travelers with an adult included. The guided group can hold 11 guests altogether. You don't have to fill the group to reserve a place.
Antelope Point check-in uses Page time, or MST year-round. Navajo Nation clocks run one hour ahead from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November. Otherwise the clocks match, so keep your phone on Phoenix time.
You receive your reservation immediately after booking and show it on your phone. Cancellation is free at least 24 hours before departure. Later cancellations aren't refundable.
