The visit

What you find at Upper Antelope Canyon

The beamsThe beams

Sunlight reaches through narrow openings above the sand. Clouds can hide the beams even when you've paid for a midday slot.

The walkThe walk

The canyon floor is mostly level sand. You'll climb outdoors on the return route, so Upper doesn't remove stairs from your day.

The rideThe ride

Most tours use an off-road vehicle to reach Upper. The Select hiking option reaches the canyon on foot and skips that ride.

Lower, next doorLower, next door

Lower Antelope Canyon has narrower passages and steep ladders. You'll need a separate booking or a combined tour to visit both sections.
