The day

How does the day work?

An overnight stay splits your Page canyon visits from the South Rim and Sedona.

  1. 1
    Las Vegas pickup

Your hotel pickup starts the drive from Las Vegas. This is an overnight trip, so your bag travels with you.

  2. 2
    Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend

Lower is planned before Horseshoe Bend on day 1. Canyon X may replace Lower, so your room option doesn't guarantee a particular canyon.

  3. 3
    Monument Valley

Forrest Gump Point precedes Monument Valley. Your first day ends with a hotel stay after the valley visit.

  4. 4
    Grand Canyon sunrise

The second morning brings you to the South Rim. Clouds can block the sunrise, so that view isn't guaranteed.

  5. 5
    Sedona

Sedona follows the South Rim on day 2. This stop comes before your drive back toward Las Vegas.

  6. 6
    Route 66 return

Seligman gives you a Route 66 break before your Las Vegas drop-off. The tour returns to your original pickup point.

The trip spans 2 days with one hotel night. The South Rim stop allows 2 hours and Sedona 2 hours 30 minutes. You finish at your Las Vegas pickup point, with the stop order subject to weather and crowding.

Pickup and meeting point

  • Hotel choices: Luxor and Bellagio are pickup choices. Treasure Island is another, though closures can move your meeting point to a different hotel.
  • Pickup timing: Pickup is scheduled 30 minutes before departure. Your booking message gives the exact place and time for the hotel meeting.
  • Overnight bag: Your bag must fit on your lap. Larger luggage costs extra because it needs separate storage space in the vehicle.
  • Walking gear: Wear sneakers or hiking shoes for the walking stops. Sandals and heels aren't suitable for the canyon visits on this route.

Before you book

  • Page matches Las Vegas from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November, then runs one hour ahead. Check your dated Las Vegas pickup instructions before boarding.

Fit

Is this tour right for you?

The three-room option fits your party of 9 to 11 if shared beds work for everyone. You get Sedona and Monument Valley within 2 days. Lower isn't guaranteed. It's a fit if either canyon works and you can travel with a bag that fits on your lap.

MaxTour's two-day trip visits Zion with Lower admission from $399.99 per person. Four guests share one room at that rate. MaxTour's three-day trip keeps Monument Valley and adds Bryce from $799.99 per person with four sharing a room.

Means: Book the three-room option for 9 to 11 guests only when sharing two beds per room works.

Who it's not for

  • Children younger than 3
  • Guests needing rollaway beds
  • Travelers requiring Lower rather than Canyon X

Good to know

Know before you go

Children and footwear

Children aged 3 and up can join this overnight trip. A toddler needs a front or backpack carrier. Wear sneakers or hiking shoes because sandals and heels aren't suitable.

Inside Antelope Canyon

All bags stay in the vehicle during the Antelope Canyon visit. Tripods and selfie sticks are barred too. GoPro cameras can't go inside the slot.

Vehicle luggage

Each traveler gets 1 lap-sized bag in the vehicle. Luggage needing separate storage costs extra. Keep your day's essentials in a bag you can hold throughout the drive.

Late reservations

AQUA TRAVEL handles bookings within 8 days as requests subject to availability. A response follows within 48 hours. Earlier bookings are accepted immediately, but a late request isn't a guaranteed place.

Weather changes

Rain or snow can cancel the canyon visit. A partial refund applies when no replacement sight is available. Your South Rim sunrise can also be hidden by poor visibility.

Meals

Only lunch on day 1 is included with your room. Every other meal is at your expense. Plan food money for both days, including breakfast.
