Route
How does the day work?
A short ride from Taadidiin's office brings you to Canyon X for a guided walk through both slots.
- ·
1. Antelope Canyon X
Your Navajo guide leads you through the first slot and then across to the second. Both are part of Canyon X.
Both options return to Taadidiin's office after 90 minutes hiking or 3 hours on the photo tour. Your tour uses Page time, which stays on Mountain Standard Time all year. Navajo Nation time runs one hour ahead from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November and matches Page otherwise.
Pickup and meeting point
- Meeting point: Taadidiin's office is at Highway 98 milepost 308. There's no hotel pickup, and parking is available at the office.
- Check-in: Arrive at the office 30 minutes early with your ID. Late arrivals lose the booking and don't get a refund.
- Finding the office: Google Maps can find Taadidiin Tours, but your GPS may give the wrong directions. The roadside sign reads Antelope Canyon X.
- Camera gear: Your photo option allows one tripod and one camera bag. The hike doesn't allow either item inside Canyon X.
Before you book
- The Canyon X hiking permit is $15 per guest aged 8 and older. Check whether your booking covers it before paying, because the booking page still includes an $8 permit.

Parking is at Taadidiin's Highway 98 office, milepost 308. Your check-in is 30 minutes before departure with ID. Keep your phone set to Phoenix time.
You can book for 1 to 10 travelers, including at least one adult. Groups can have 15 guests in total. Your voucher is mobile-only, and the booking needs an operator response.
Voluntary cancellations don't qualify for a refund. A change of plans costs you the full booking. Late arrival also means losing your place without a refund.
A flash flood warning can cancel your Canyon X tour. Taadidiin contacts advance bookings by phone and email when the canyon closes. If the whole tour is canceled for poor weather, this booking offers another date or a full refund.
