The day

How does the day work?

Zion opens the trip before a day around Monument Valley and a South Rim visit on the return.

  1. 1
    Las Vegas meeting

Your group meets at the Palms before the drive to Zion. Hotel pickup isn't part of this route.

  2. 2
    Zion and Page

Day 1 gives you afternoon walks in Zion. The drive then goes to Page for your first hotel night.

  3. 3
    Antelope and Monument Valley

Day 2 offers an optional Antelope Canyon visit before Monument Valley. Your Navajo Jeep tour is part of the main trip.

  4. 4
    Horseshoe Bend

The afternoon return from Monument Valley includes a walk to Horseshoe Bend. Your second night is also in Page.

  5. 5
    Grand Canyon and return

Day 3 reaches the South Rim before the return to Las Vegas. You can walk the rim or add a helicopter flight at extra cost.

Both hotel nights are in Page, with your day 3 return at the Palms coach curb. The live guide speaks English. App commentary provides seven other languages.

Pickup and meeting point

  • Palms bus area: Your meeting point is at 4321 W Flamingo Road. The coach loading curb is on Hugh Hefner Drive beside the Palms, reached by turning right from the main exit.
  • Check-in: Arrive 10 minutes before the tour leaves. You're responsible for reaching the Palms and getting back to your hotel after the trip.
  • Bags: The luggage limit is 44 pounds (20 kg) per person. Your larger bag can be a suitcase or backpack, with a small day bag alongside it.
  • Walking kit: Closed-toe shoes and warm layers suit the changing temperatures. Bring a refillable water bottle for the comfort stops along the route.

Before you book

  • Page matches Las Vegas from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November, then runs one hour ahead. Check your dated Las Vegas pickup instructions before boarding.

Fit

Is this tour right for you?

The shared departure suits your party of 3 or 4 if you can share two queen beds. Children can join from age 5. You spend both hotel nights in Page. It's a fit if you want Monument Valley and don't need Antelope Canyon included.

MaxTour's three-day trip includes Lower and most meals from $799.99 per person. That rate puts four people in one room. Bindlestiff's winter trip adds a South Rim sunset from $910 per person for 8 or more for a private party of eight to twelve.

Means: Choose the Monday or Thursday small-group option when your party can share a room and reach the Palms.

Who it's not for

  • Children under 5
  • Travelers expecting hotel pickup
  • Anyone needing Antelope Canyon included

Know before you go

Children and boosters

Children must be at least 5, and anyone under 17 needs an adult. Booster seats are free with advance notice. Your booking should include that request before travel.

Bag allowance

Your main bag can weigh up to 44 pounds (20 kg). A small day bag is allowed beside it. Excess luggage can stop you boarding.

Shared departure minimum

The shared trip needs at least 4 participants to run. If the minimum isn't met, you can move to another date or receive a full refund.

Getting ready

Your arrival at the Palms must be 10 minutes before departure. Check arrangements with Bindlestiff at least 7 days before the trip. Your voucher stays on your phone.

Clothing and water

Wear closed shoes and pack layers for the 3-day route. Refills are available at comfort stops, but bottled water isn't supplied. Your clothes need to cover warm and cool conditions.

Park supplements

Non-U.S. residents aged 16 and older face a $100 extra fee at the Grand Canyon and at Zion. The $250 America the Beautiful Non-Resident Annual Pass covers its holder and three additional adults on your commercial tour. The price excludes these supplements.
