Know before you go

  • Check-in LPX meets at the dock below Wahweap's launch ramp. Arrive 15 minutes before your LPX departure. Navajo Canyon uses the Lake Powell Resort lobby with arrival 45 minutes early. None of the four includes a hotel pickup in Page.
  • Park entry $30 per vehicle covers Glen Canyon entry for you and your passengers for 7 days. It isn't included in the LPX or Navajo Canyon price. An America the Beautiful pass covers your entry; motorized vessel fees are separate. Bring a card; you can't pay cash at park entrance stations.
  • Children and gear LPX supplies child life jackets; infants ride on an adult's lap. There's storage for your personal items on board. Ask about your tripod before bringing it aboard.
  • Page time All departures use Page time. That's Mountain Standard Time throughout the year. Navajo Nation time runs an hour ahead from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November. Keep your phone on Page time; the clocks match outside that season.
  • Changes and refunds Booking confirmation is instant for all four. LPX and Navajo Canyon refund cancellations at least 24 hours before departure. After that, you don't get a refund for canceling. Both Lake Powell Rentals options are final sales.
  • Wind and water High winds can stop boat trips. Your rental route also depends on the lake level. Wahweap Main is closed to motorized launching; Stateline Auxiliary is available. Stay out of narrow canyons when storms or flash floods are forecast.
