Options

Which option to book

Prime covers 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., while Non-Prime offers earlier or later starts. Your travel date determines the departures you can book.

Option Departures
Preferred Departure Time 9 a.m., one date only
Non-Prime, Departure Times 14 start times from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Mon to Fri
Prime, Departure Times every 30 minutes from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., daily
Means: The 8 a.m. Non-Prime slot leaves your afternoon open when offered.

The catch: Arrival is 30 minutes early, and the booking voucher doesn't replace the separate operator check-in number.

Route

How does the day work?

After check-in at the canyon, your group enters Lower on foot with a Navajo guide when its turn is called.

  1. ·
    1. Lower Antelope Canyon

Your first stop is the canyon check-in building. After parking, you leave barred items in the car and wait for your group to be called.

The visit allows 90 minutes for arrival and the guided walk. The walk takes 60 minutes. You finish at the canyon site.

Pickup and meeting point

  • Meeting instructions: Check-in details arrive by text or email in the 2 days before your tour. You make your own way to the canyon office named there.
  • Arrival and entry: Check in 30 minutes before departure with the operator's check-in number. The booking page voucher won't replace that number, and no printout is needed.
  • Bags and shoes: Bags stay in your vehicle during the walk. Open shoes and sandals aren't allowed, so your footwear needs to cover your toes.
  • Children: A child who can't walk needs a chest or backpack carrier. Strollers aren't allowed on the route. Every infant needs a booked place.

Before you book

  • Infants aged 0 to 3 need a paid place. Your booking must include them even if they can't walk through the canyon.

Fit

Is this tour right for you?

Free cancellation until 24 hours before departure suits a Page visit you're still planning. Prime offers midday starts when available. You need the separate check-in number before reaching the canyon. The route requires unaided walking.

Dixie's walk costs from $94 per person and lets children aged 0 to 3 join free if you're traveling with infants. For Upper Antelope Canyon too, Dineh's combined tour costs from $369.37 per adult and includes Page pickup.

Means: Book Non-Prime at 8 a.m. when offered if you don't need the costlier midday option.

Who it's not for

  • Travelers who need a cane or walker
  • Families who need to use a stroller
  • Visitors planning to film inside Lower

Good to know

Know before you go

Booking limit

A reservation holds 1 to 15 travelers with an adult in the party. Listed activity capacity is also 15. Neither number specifies how many guests share your Navajo guide.

Phone and entry

Your operator check-in number arrives by text or email during the 2 days before departure. Keep it on your phone for the canyon office. The phone should use Phoenix time so it matches Page.

Shoes and gear

Wear shoes with covered toes because sandals and high heels aren't allowed. Bags and selfie sticks stay outside Lower. You also can't take a tripod or record video while walking through the canyon.

Arrival and transport

Your booked start is the departure time. The assigned office needs you there 30 minutes beforehand, and hotel transport isn't included. A delay on the drive can cost your place without a refund.

Weather decisions

Canyon operators or Navajo Parks and Recreation decide when weather closes Lower. National Park Express can't override that decision. Floodwater can come from distant rain, so clear skies over Page don't settle whether the walk runs.

Changes and cancellation

Cancellation is free at least 24 hours before departure, with no refund inside that window. Your assigned time can also move for operational reasons. An affected booking can be moved to the closest available time or canceled by exception.
